On Saturday 9th a mixed group of Rebels and Imperials entered IG-88's facility on Lok and emerged victorious, watching the once mighty assassin droid crawling outside the mouse droid shelf it gave itself, downloading itself like an ugly virus to other venues. No doubt, it will be heard of still, but at least, not in the facility any longer. Nevertheless, it was no easy fight as numerous team members died during the session. Since they managed to come back, they presumably cloned at Nym's and flew back to the camp set outside the instance, unless a 2-1B medical droid was present in the camp. They bravely fought past the guarding elite droids to re-enter the facility.
In the heat of the action, no pictures were taken, it's a shame and really poor reporting...Still, thanks to Avofot, Ricto, and the others for hosting this successful run.

Defending Mos Espa
Members of the TMB strike team went to defend Mos Espa from the Tusken King invasion, only to be defeated in the street battles. With 10 citizens killed and one dead from the adventuring party, it was a victory for the Tusken King. The debrief took place in a spirit of learning from past mistakes with a debate on the numbers of roamers vs area guards during Phase II. Most organizations usually rest on a 2 persons team of roamers and 3 two-persons teams of area guards, but this idea has been challenged by a 4 persons roaming team quickly clearing the streets and moving to static spawn zones whenever a call is made.

From Mustafar to Tatooine to Lok
On Sunday, what started as a simple Mustafar trip - a visit to the Blackguard camp to, ahem, discuss with their leadership and to help solve an archeologist's problem, ended as a galactic trip to save Mos Espa from the Tusken King and to enter IG-88's factory compound. While the first lag of this trip - a pure TMB two man team (Enkarn, Tarn), met with success, the remaining mixed group failed in both heroics (phase II and phase III respectively). It was nevertheless an opportunity to meet and work alongside new people and to have an overall good time. More success next time !

Chamber of Banishment (II)
A mixed Imperial / Rebel strike team, with two TMB members (Darkossk, Tarn) entered the Chamber of Banishment at the bottom of the Cave next to the Nightsister Stronghold. The team battled all the way down and entered the Chamber to face Axkva Ming and her supporters. After the witch's defeat, the group shortly disbanded.

Chamber of Banishment
On Monday evening a mixed group of Rebels and Imperials fought its way down the Nightsister Cave to enter the Chamber of Banishment. Despite skills, experience and spirit, the group met with demise as opposition refused stubbornly to be subdued. While it could be looked as a shame, it was actually due to a bug and hope it will be soon fixed.
Meanwhile, rumors have it that Darkossk is hoarding on Meatlump chests in order to find caged animals, an endeavor for which we wish him to find success - and as a matter of fact, laud his trailblazing spirit as a ranger highly interested in gaining identical treasures will soon follow suit...

ISD Run

Travelling to the Imperial Star Destroyer was a fun run (and successful), it was a good moment to spend with friends in a challenging environment, especially in the first room. The use of the cloning facilities aboard the ship was also the demonstration that there's no need to have an ent buff when doing this heroic.Congrats' on the entire team for a job well done, it's always a pleasure to work with our friends at Phenix Rising.
Also, as a side note, it was a great opportunity to explore Nova Orion Station (never been before) and to complete the Four Sages of Dwartii collection. The statue will be displayed in an undisclosed location...

Getting Flagged
With the new update coming into effect and the numerous expertise reset that have come with it, it has been a time to further undergo the Heroics flagging process. With some community members, at long last completing the attunement quests, while others freshly discovering adventurous lives, moving away from their crafting stations to embrace combat professions.
In this context, the TMB community has been travelling from Lok to Talus to Yavin IV to Tatooine to Corellia to Endor, and of course, to Dathomir.

Sound planning never hurts...
With the increased readiness of the TMB strike team, time for sound planning has begun. As a small guild, improvising heroics or instance runs is bound to meet with failure, so in order to have a complete enjoyment, let's work ahead.
- Picking a date and time for a Heroic instance. In the case the entire team cannot be fielded, have a roster of friends ready to fill in the gaps. Planning for a fallback option and having everyone know in advance is good too : "On the menu, IG run, fallback NK Necrosis". No surprise to have.
- From there on, everyone to their favorite guides (Allakhazam, swg.wiki, SOE forum), the more informed, the smaller the surprise.
- During the week, everyone gets geared up in a solo or teamwork way, i.e. missions for specific objects, crafting. This includes having a ready camp, etc.
- On the evening, plan for an Ent. to be around (we're working on having a semi-perma ent. in the city, btw).
- Meet up on time and roll in !

Sleepless in Dathomir
On Sunday 25th and Tuesday 27th, TMB teams gathered on the Dathomir broken landsape to hunt gaping spiders, kwi and other rancors helping Skedra levelling faster, before moving to the Nightsister Stronghold to help Darkossk, Arekya and Tarn complete the Nightsister Headdress prequest. With those completed, the TMB team will soon be able to attempt its first Heroics on its own (pending Vilouss and Skedra's levelling completion). With the last games sessions oriented on teamwork, the likely team to be fielded will comprise of : Jed Hull (Jedi), Kohaeg Noubat (Jedi), Iascoeto Fepa (Jedi), Darkossk (Commando), Ashelin (Officer), Arekya Kreyel (Medic), Tarn Pagott (Spy).

From Tatooine to Mustafar to Rori
On May, 16th, TMB residents took part in several heroics / instance runs. Defending Mos Espa from the onslaught of the Tusken King, the team failed on phase II. It however met with greater success in the depths of Tulrus Island on Mustafar, when it confronted Malfosa, a fearesome Sher-kar. Carried by this success, the team moved on to confront HK-47, but was eventually defeated by the droid.
In spite of the of the difficulties, the three runs where conducted in a very good spirit and in a spirit of solidarity. The team showed great cohesion. Thanks everyone.
In the meantime, general Hull was imposing Imperial rule on the galacitic civil war fields of Rori, in the ruined city of Restuss. Despite his long career, he is reported to have commented with a child-like surprise on a brazen run from a Rebel Jedi, jumping into the fray with courage or foolishness as his only weapon. Recorded duration on the field : 1mn. Innovative techniques regularly change the course of warfare, clearly this one was not one.

From Tatooine to Yavin IV
From Tatooine to Yavin IV, citizens and guildmembers of Twin Mountain Base have struggled against all odds to uncover rare archeological treasures or to protect Mos Espa. During the last few days, several runs have taken place - admittedly with varying successes.
They were the opportunity to hone skills and strategies, but mostly to spend a good time in a challenging environment. Hopefully, we will soon be able to have an all TMB/TWIN strike team, capable of operating in the most difficult instances.
