Welcome to Twin Mountain Base ! (II)

Welcome to Twin Mountain Base!

Your was built within the borders of our fine city. In exchange for using the city's land and local civic services, you may be charged property taxes. Please check the current tax rate at the City Hall.

We thank you for joining Twin Mountain Base,

Mayor Tarn Pagott.

This is the mail that all receive when placing a structure within the city's limits. The current property tax rate is 0. This mail is nevertheless an interesting piece of trivia in the SWG lore.

History of TMB (IV)

The dating of the settlement of Twin Mountain Base has become a question for historians. While early settlers and Tarn Pagott (Founder) place the date late 2004, around the launch of the JTL extension, SOE places the date on Feb.06.2004 - an email has been sent to SOE customer support to have the date.

A replied has been sent to SOE regarding the apparently errouneous date and suggesting that perphaps another Player City name Twin Mountain Base was created on Feb 06 (however unlikely) or that the dating system used pushes for some reasons dates early.

We will keep you informed about this issue.

SOE, with great diligence, has cross checked and confirmed that the settlement date was 17.Dec.2004, which matches popular recollections. Interestingly, it was on Tarn's birthday...

Happy Birthday (III)

Friday, September 26th, 7 pm EST, A small celebration with close friends for Tarn's 57 months old birthday - on the day, it was his 1713th day. Thanks to Enkarn for showing up earlier because of time difference and asking Omiag to drop some fireworks for the event, Jed for xfire coordination during the event, Arekya for signing up on a trial account just for the occasion and reactivating just because trial toons are, ahem, limited.

A great many thanks for Eweev, Looser, Iascoeto and intermittently Ostocar for having a mind of her own despite Iascoeto's claim about being an alt :). Also, a warm thank you to all those that sent emails saying that they couldn't attend because of previous engagements. All intentions have contributed to an extent in making this birthday a good moment with a spirit of friendship. It was a moment to exchange memories and laughs - no one will comment on the dancing and the flourishes...- that felt very much like having friends at home over dinner and spending an excellent evening.

The Storyteller system clearly offers some possibilities for grandiose set ups (Tarn's b'day doesn't classify as an event requiring a grandiose set up), and Tarn's 60 months birthday (this one does) will be quite magnificient (hopefully), also, the city's birthday (5 years) on December 17th will be events not to be missed. Stay tuned for that.

Museum of Natural History (XI)

The Museum of Natural History has received a new exhibit.

A primitive necklace is now displayed in the Exploration Room. A primitive necklace bane from the bone of a small animal. The pendant is made from the tooth of a predatory animal judging from the shape. Yet, it is possible to question the assertion regarding the "small" animal, judging from the tooth size.

In addition to this new piece of exhibit, an existing display has been modified and expanded. The stuffed banthas have been positioned to illustrate the movement of bantha herds travelling in the wild deserts of Tatooine.

Elections anyone ? (VIII)

FM: City Hall
Obj: Election won
Date: Thu. Sep. 25

Congratulations, Mayor Tarn Pagott!

The populace of Twin Mountain Base has elected to retain you for another term. Your rights and privileges as Mayor have not changed. The next mayoral election has started and the results will be tabulated in three weeks' time.

The city thanks you for your continued service.

Happy Birthday (II)

This evening was Tarn Pagott's 57 months birthday. Challenging commonsense about spaceship landing regulations, he installed a homing beacon in his house in order to land the Silent Explorer or the Ionic Bird in TMB.

Although it's been a while since he's spend a significant amount of time in space - save for frequent hyperspace travels - this may be an opportunity to rekinkle space exploration, missions or mining.

Also, it adds to the unusual landing locations available, with the Imperial Retreat on Naboo still being the most curious.

For the birthday, a party will take place in Twin Mountain Base's Cantina, family, friends, pets and droids will all be welcome. The event will take on Friday 26th September at 7.00pm EST.

Dantooine: Arches & Statues

-6100 4590. A complex of four gates left by the "Golden Dome" culture. The first gates leads to a hidden valley in the hill, the second gate leads to a round clearing, reminiscent of a glade.

There is no visible accessway to the third gate, though it is possible to escalade. The third and fourth gate lead to a decorated standing stone of unusual type. Though, to be confirmed this stone may be present in Dathomir in the Nightsister Cave.

Two Dantari statues are up hill, looking South and overlooking the entire complex.

This site stands out of ordinary observed architectural practices from the "Golden Dome" culture, where previous buildings or passageways made little use of the natural features of the terrain (save for the "Stone Arch & Ruins" site). In addition, the presence of the Dantari statues doesn't appear as an afterthought in the aesthetic balance of the site - rather, it seems that the statues are an integral part of the site. This close combination of the "Golden Dome" culture and Dantari style was observed at the "Tower and Green Fire" site, where it was on a much more integrated scale however, with the face of a Dantari statue embedded in the "Golden Dome" tower.

Dantooine: Two Statues

-5508 4458, elevation 47. Two statues in the Dantari style overlooking a road. One statue on each side of the road, with the far statue decorated with a bol skull.

The positionning of these statues suggests that act as "guardians" of the road or delineate the entrance to a territory. The skull may be a symbol of a threat to trespassers or the warning of a danger ahead. However, the latter explanation could be conflictual with the perceived use of totems.

Dantooine: Platform

-4888 4350, elevation 48. A funerary platform atop of hill, the platform is reinforced by fences. A Humanoid skeleton is on the platform, resting on a mattress, a weapon rack with 3 lances is oriented toward its feet and a tanned skin is position toward its head. On both sides of the platform, on the top poles are bol heads.

Compared to the Humanoid skeletons observed in the "Two huts" site, funerary platforms may be for distinguished tribe members. The presence of gifts and / or personal belongings suggest the belief in an afterlife. The position of the body, high up on a platform prevents it from being desecrated or eaten by creatures other than birds.

To note, unlike other platforms, this one is not located near a body of water, suggesting a variety of rites and / or the coincidental location of the other platforms with a body of water.

Dantooine: Arch & Ruin

-4216 4246, elevation 34 (42 for the arch). A Jedi ruin, clearly identified by the statue on top of the arch and the statue at ground level. An old Jedi statue that appears to have been polished and repaired, it represents a Twi'lek Jedi armed with a blue-bladed lightsaber. The statue and the arch are facing South, with a 1° NE angle.

A forsaken Force drifter remains in the area, seemingly meditating in search of higher knowledge.

Dantooine: Two Huts

-4483 5281. A small destroyed encampment composed of two huts, 2 totems, a whetstone, topped fences and portal. Two skeletons and a skull, all Humanoid, where on location.

A band of Dantari Raiders was nearby, whether it had made the attack, came for help or simply was here by coincidence.

Of note, the totems break from the usual ones, lacking the top horn shaped features of the traditional totems, those had a hanging horn like feature. In addition, one the totem did not have the usual amount of bones in its composition. With the "skull crowned" totem observed some time ago, this brings at 4 the amount of totems used by the Dantari.

Dantooine: Ruins

-4095 5965, elevation 35. Ruins from the "Golden Dome" culture; a passageway oriented 95° SE and 5 paces wide. Four columns, all broken, complete the passageway.

A communication terminal seem to have been recently placed for unknown reasons. Orbital imagery shows buried elements, likely, pieces from the column or the arch. Further excavation will be necessary to have a greater understanding of this place.

Dantooine: Techno Idol

-2778 5672, elevation 13. Three totems placed in triangle, two torches flanking what seems to be a propulsion piece from a starship. A Janta shaman seem to remain on location.

The presence of the totems as well as that of the Shaman are indications that this site has a special significance in the Dantari culture. Whether the wreckage is imbued with religious signification for the Dantari, or is on the verge of being included in Dantari spiritual lore will be determined by further questioning.

On a side note, this wreckage may be related to the partial hull found earlier. As this site was also guarded, one can hypothesize that a crash landing ship streaking through the Dantooine sky may have an effect in the Dantari culture. Whether to report this wreckage to local authorities or not is problematic and will be decided only after interviewing the Dantari on their perceived signification.

Dantooine: Circle of Trees

-2617 5277, elevation 24. This circle of eight tree may be considered a site despite the absence of any artefacts or Dantari intervention. However, their positioning atop a small hill, their general placement in circle and their number are reason enough to investigate whether the Dantari culture has developed some interest in natural rearrangement for aesthetic or spiritual purpose.

Dantooine: Rocks in Hill

-2460 4589, elevation 7. Limestone menhirs in a hill. These menhirs, despite their weight stay in position.

Position in a crown shape made of two rows, the outer row contains 7 menhirs while the inner row contains 4.

This site seem to be guarded by 2 Kunga Rockshapers.

Similar questions may be asked regarding the finality of this arrangement, however, previous sites involving menhirs, also disposed in rows, tended to support a spiritual dimension.

Dantooine: Rock Piles

-1929 4607, elevation 7. Large limestones in a delicate equilibrium, a Mokk Rockshaper remains close to the site.

The equilibrium and the presence of the Rockshaper clearly indicates a particular skill and affinity in manipulating these large boulders. One cannot wonder about the necessary skills to position these rocks and the techniques used.

The finality of this particular exercice also remains unclear, whether it answers to an aesthetic imperative or a spiritual imperative is to be determined.

Dantooine: Marker

-1189 4111, elevation 11 (column), elevation 22 (totem). Overlooking a lake, this totem also overlooks a broken column of the Jedi Temple Ruin style. A Janta scout seem to remain closeby.

Dantooine: Broken AT-AT

-223 4854, elevation 13. A downed AT-AT, judging from the surrounding vegetation, it has been there for nearly a year. A helmet was nearby. This finding will have to be reported to local authorities.

Dantooine: Metal Debris

-1563 5467, elevation 7. A piece from a ship's hull, with two cargo boxes. No indication from the ship type or identification are visible. The wreckage will have to be reported to local authorities.

Two Kunga harvesters seem to remain around the wreckage at all times.

Dantooine: Ruins

-1033 5762, elevation 1. A two rooms building flanked by two columns, the architectural style matches the Jedi. Both rooms are 8x8; both columns are broken, but their bases seem to have suffered some cuts.

Dantooine: Fenced Pool

-204 5958, elevation 0. A natural pool, closed by 11 disconnected fences, two totems, aligned N and S, facing outward from the pool seem to ward the area.

Animal skulls and bones are present in the enclosure : a thune skull, a large skeletal paw (4 claws are partly visible) 4 paces wide, a voritor skull. Outside the enclosure, a bol skull, five limestones or vertebras from a huge creature, a thune skull.

This site seems to be taboo, no access and totems convey this impression. Whether the water is putrid because of dead animals or is sanctified (votive offering) remains to be confirmed.

Kunga warriors and a clan leader were nearby, though this may coincidental.

Dantooine: Marker

338 5541, elevation 15. A totem, with three voritor skulls positioned in half-circle. The totem faces South, the skulls are positioned at -45°, 0°, 45°.

Two Kunga scouts and a Janta hunter were fighting over the place as I arrived.

Dantooine: Mysterious Shrine

2163 7548, elevation 161. I had to backtrack to go to this location which did not figure on my maps, a local guide pointed me to it.

"A mysterious and timeworn shrine of unknown origin or purpose" was how it was described. Upon examination, of the three broken columns and the statue, all points to a Jedi Temple Ruin architecture.

The materials, style and designs match observed structures. The statue, similar from those seen in the Jedi Temple Ruin and in the Arch, can now be observed in details. It is a sword wielding cloaked / robed humanoid of unknown gender.

Curiously, the broken column in front of the statue reeks with visible bolts of energy that produces a crackling noise. A similar energy display was observed in the Lizard Cave, again on columns. This mysterious source of energy fails to register on my instruments, but auditory and visual perceptions confirm that it produces a physical effect.

According to my guide, the use of the word "shrine" denotes a spiritual / religious purpose of the structure. Asked whether he used it himself, he clearly indicated that the structure did not belong to his culture (native Dantari). Therefore, it is to assume that the term was used either in ignorance of the structure's culture or that knowledge and spiritual / religious practices have been known to the Dantaris. However the exactitude of the term, the location, well up in the hills, offers a grandiose viewpoint over the entire region and the peace of the place is bound to help meditative composures.

Dantooine: Floating Object

122 5230. This object floats in midair approximately 5m. from the ground. It looks like a box with a large lid and emanates a visible light at night, but too faint or inexistent during daytime. The light radiates equally in all directions.

It is clearly manufactured and no recordable energy source seem to maintain it. The fact that it irradiates light and remain in midair suggests that it is using an internal source of power, shielded from measurement and inaudible.

Unusual explanations may be sought also and an open mind has to be kept about this, yet not at the expense of mechanical causes.

Dantooine: Ruins

442 4608, elevation 2. A lakeside one room Jedi Order building. The building had four columns inside it, two columns at each end. The room is 11x17 and is oriented 340° NW. The building widens slightly and the columns are not properly aligned. These features are highly unusual given the symmetrical features of Jedi buildings encountered so far or the Jedi Temple Ruins.

Dantooine: Two Arches

1018 4855, elevation 23. A two columns passageway ended by two arches from the "Golden Dome" style. The passageway is oriented 40° NE and is 4x9, no habitable structure seem to be in proximity.

This passageway and other passageways observed from the "Golden Dome" culture, along with passageways from the Jedi Order suggest that a common aesthetical and / or spiritual principle may be found in these cultures. This common aspect, for the time being may only be observed and should not imply a causal link.

Dantooine: Platform

1519 4660, elevation 0. A platform and a temporary encampement used by two Mokk Hunters. The platform is placed halfway in the river and is further reinforced by fences at the base. It has no object on it.

The encampment is rather rudimentary with a large campfire, with roasting meat and a fresh fishrack.

The presence of the platform near a body of water is reminiscing of a previous observed platform, a funerary one. Whether the presence of food at proximity was in relation of the current camp users or votive offerings for a deceased person would require further examination.

Dantooine: Stone Building

1647 4866, elevation 21. An abandonned limestone structure, with a discarded whetstone nearby and a fallen totem on the ground. The structure is windowless and entirely made of stones, 6 paces in diameter, it appears from orbital imagery that another structure exists below. This hidden structure is round, roughly 3 paces in diameter.

Further excavations will be needed to unearth the structure. The ground structure itself is rather puzzling. The totem, usually indicative of a danger and the presence of a common tool, the whetstone, suggest that the inhabitant of the structure held a special signification among the Dantari culture.

Dantooine: Bol Pen

1363 5193, a bol pen, guarded by four harvesters. The pen is 16x17 paces and is composed of seven disconnected fences, the entrance is large enough for two bols to walk alongside. Four bols are inside the pen.

The presence of harvesters, in the wilderness, in the strongholds and in small encampement such as this one, strongly suggests that the Dantari are now semi sedentary and have moved beyond a hunter-gatherer culture. This limited form of sedentarization (permanent strongholds and villages, semi permanent encampements, domestication) seems therefore quite widely entrenched in the culture with, in all likelihood seasonal harvests performed in rotating settlements.

Dantooine: Arch

1180 5761, elevation 22. A decorated arch and passageway overlooking a lake. The arch and columns correspond to the Jedi Temple Ruins. The statue on top of the arch is similar to statues in the Jedi Temple Ruins and confirms that this architectural style matches that of the builders of the Ruins - and thus confirms that the Jedi Order used several locales in the planet for various purposes.

Four columns, broken at the top, flank the arch. The arch is oriented 270° W.

Beyond its archeological value, this site is truly stunning for the view it offers. Speculations about the finality of this structure remain, yet the absence of a closed wall structure strongly suggest that this place was of visitation.

Dantooine: Hut

1647 5925, elevation 21. An abandonned hut in typical Dantari style, with four supporting limestones and a three-slabed limestone entrance. The door is oriented 260° SW.

Dantooine: Three Statues

2046 6054, Three statues in typical Dantari style are placed lakeside overlooking the lake. Two are facing in the same direction (10° NE, elevation 18 and 9), while the third is facing 350° NW, elevation 23.

The statues' position, at unequal levels seem to respond to a pattern of access to the lake, perhaps for ritual purposes.

Dantooine: Large Hut

3201 6011, elevation 1. A round 17 paces wide hut in stone / thatch style, supported by five limestone slabs. The roof is made of five large limestone slabs of considerable weight, inside the hut are three limestone pillars to support the roof. A large hole in the roof acts as a natural chimney.

A pen composed of six disconnected fences is nearby, and two totems alongside the road, distant from 120 paces seem to delineate the area. The hut's entrance lays 36 paces from the nearest totem.

11 Dantari Raiders seem to guard this place.

Dantooine: Broken Columns

2065 5308, elevation 10. Six columns in the Jedi Temple Ruins style placed in a 17 paces wide circle. The columns are roughly 10 paces high, not including the base, judging from a broken one laying on the ground. The top of the columns is missing suggesting that they may have been taller or held decorative motifs, three are cut at the base, with only one still visible, broken in three pieces, on the ground.

Museum of Natural History (X)

Twin Mountain Base's Museum of Natural History has been selected in the Galactic Showcase. This accolade rewards countless efforts to create a place where knowledge of the natural world and traditional cultures would be accessible and enjoyable to all.

It is also the fruit of a collective effort, where many have helped over the years - the Museum started on Tatooine in what was the Wilderness Traders Union. In 4 years since the Museum first iteration was created, small and large in kind donations, show of moral support or groups to help obtaining rare exhibits have all played a role in making this place better each time.

Over time, the concept evolved quite importantly, while it started in a small Tatooine house and moved to a Guild Hall early on, at one point it almost became divided in several small buildings, built in circle - one to house each type of collection.

A pleasant, if impractical idea, the current housing improvement collections have contributed in keeping only one building for the Museum, but with time, the collections will overgrow the walls. A day to look forward to!

In the meantime, better displays in the Flora room will be needed and the Aquarium could be better. Stuffed creatures ought to replace the current sedated pets, and, of course, any new find needs to find its way to the building.

Thanks for making this place lively and hope to see you soon there,
Tarn

Eweev's tales from Scylla (2)

Darkness and power filled him, causing t he screen in front of him to swim in front of his eyes.

Something was wrong, but it felt right to him.

Colney slid back from the screen he had been watching, reaching out towards the darkness but not finding it had no origin. But, he still felt it.

He closed his eyes, calming his mind. He touched the bond he shared with his wife. Sadness filled him when he realized he hadn’t touched her bond in weeks.

Atest felt darker than she had. But, Colney was convinced that it wasn’t his wife he was feeling. He brushed her lightly in the force, feeling first surprise then love flooding back to him.

His thoughts turned back to his sister, seeking out her bond.

Colney’s head swam. He wasn’t even aware of his head hitting the desk.

Death surrounded him everywhere he turned his head. Dead and dismembered bodies were strewn all around. Darkness pervaded this place.

As he searched this place, in his mind’s eye, he knew something bad had happened here. Something that shouldn’t have happened.

It felt familiar.

Colney couldn’t place his finger on why it should feel this way. He felt he should know why this presence felt so familiar.

He walked among the carnage, careful not to stop on any of the bodies or body parts littering the floor as he reached out his senses.

He felt stronger. The dark side was pulling him as it never had b before. Beckoning with a promise of immense power.

Colney’s eyes opened wide in horror. He was back at his desk. His head hurt where it had fallen and hit the hard wood.

“What have you done, Little One?” he asked the empty room.

Eweev's tales from Scylla

Eweev crouched behind the bush peering through the dense leaves. Her hands on the soft fabric of her pants, se stretched out in the force to the two troopers standing on the other side of the bush. She infected them with calm and tranquility.

Tanisi gave her a confused look. He could see the trooper’s stances change, relax. He could feel her anger flare up in her and being pushed back down, almost as if it were ready to use at her beck and call. He was sure that was what she was doing.

Eweev unclipped her lightsaber, as she creped along the bush, coming up behind the troopers. She placed the head of the hilt against the right one’s back and ignited the beam, the purple blade extending itself through armor and flesh. The smell of burned flesh wafted around him.

The trooper looked down at his middle, seeing the purple blade extending from his belly before he started to collapse onto the ground.

The second trooper registered shock in the force, seeing his comrade down. He was drawing his blaster, when the purple blade sprang to life again, finding its mark, his hand flying to the side, bouncing twice before coming to a rest on the other side of the first trooper.

He grabbed his stump, as his helmet faced his attacker. “You,” he whispered.

A cold smile crossed her lips. “For you, I am the bringer of death.”

Those words sent a cold chill down Tanisi’s spine. He felt the cold calculations as she raised her lightsaber, brining it around to cleave the man in two.

“He was done fighting,” Tanisi scolded.

Eweev’s eyes were a cold fury. “He’s part of the Empire,” her voice was as cold as her eyes. “They choose to either kill or enslave me.” She paused. “I will be neither.”

“He could have been brought to our side.”

“I will show mercy, when they show me mercy.”

She walked the short distance to the bunker.

He could feel the darkness in her aching to be let out. He could feel her intent, as she walked inside.

“Remember Vader’s mistakes,” he prodded, following her.

Eweev ignored him, lightsaber clenched in her fist, as they came on the first group of Imperials. They paused long enough to see the lightsaber.

Effortlessly, the purple blade flew between them, severing limbs before they had a chance to react.

The next group came around the corner, blasters ready. She batted the bolts away sending them back to her attackers.

Tanisi had his lightsaber out now. He could feel her intentions through the bond now. She meant to destroy this entire base.

He could feel the force flowing through her. He could feel her pulling him along with her like a ship at high tide. All he could do is ride the tide with her.

They swept through the base, leaving a trail of broken bodies behind.

Tanisi felt the anger in her. Felt the dark side pouring from her. Something was different, he thought, as he fought beside her.

She was in absolute control.

Eweev picked her way back up out of the bunker, stepping over the bodies littered over the path. Her lightsaber still in her hand, as she emerged into the sunlight and came face to face with a white Zabrak.

He was smiling at her.

Eweev’s blade snap-hissed to life once more.

“You are falling, Jedi,” he said, hands relaxed at his sides. “It’s time to take your place among the Sith.”

“I’m no Sith.”

“You are Sith, Eweev Naefai,” he smiled, “or will be soon. Only a dark one can do what you just did.”

He raised his hand to indicate the bunker behind her.

“It’s you,” she gasped, her eyes growing wide.

He remained silent.

“Who are you?” she demanded, anger filling her voice.

“Farewell, for now, Dark Lady.” He turned and disappeared from sight.

Dantooine: Arch & Fire

2910 4515, elevation 2. A the end of a small isthmus leading to a natural lake, lies an arch with a burning rock on a square altar.

The altar as well as the arch's square angles have an inner square lining. The top of the arch is somehow conical (bell shaped), with the top of the cone delimited by a circular incision. A fire burns on top of the cone.

The arch is oriented 100° SE/NW and is 6 paces wide. It is made of a material reminiscent of Tatooine sandstones and does not correspond to observed cultures from a stylistic point of view, thus deemed "Linear Sandstone".

Three Dark Jedi seem to guard this location at all times.

Dantooine: Jedi Temple Ruin

4197 5207, elevation (...). The ruins of the famed Jedi Enclave of Dantooine have been largely documented by many authors.

Nevertheless, it was an opportunity to confront various observation, mostly in relations of the "Golden Dome" culture, which shows some level of ressemblance.

The choice of the Jedi Enclave's location - at the bottom of a natural circus and in front of the waterfall hiding the "Lizard Cave", seem to be guided by aesthetic or spiritual reasons. The Enclave's complex is composed of a three buildings, a walkway and a massive triangular structure with a staircase, oriented 45° W, a large open court stone provides the floor.

Among the distinctive feature still standing is the statue of an Dark Jedi. A fortunate attempt has turned up a relic. The site's current resident presides over another green fire, however, this fire seemed to need combustible and the flame colors may be the result of chemical properties.

An aerial view of the area clearly indicates in the riverbed the impacts of the bombardment that the Enclave suffered about 5000 years ago.

Dantooine: Lizard Cave

4243 4950, elevation -33. Below the waterfall near the Jedi Temple Ruins lies a hidden cave, running as deep as -68 elevation. Natural shafts show that the cave goes even lower but no passageway enable the descent.

While the cave is used by voritors and has been visited by unfortunate adventurers - as evidenced by humanoid skeletons, parts of the cave are lighted by torches and lead to Drakka Judarrl's abode, a Zabrak woman.

Her hut is highly unusual in design as it combines elements of the "Jedi Temple Ruin" culture (columns criss crossed by raw energy) and traditional Dantari stone/thatch elements.

Dantooine: Three Huts & Statue

4883 4501, elevation 23, Three straw / thatched huts forming an isoceles triangle with a near perfect N/S alignement (1° deviation). The third hut stand 90° E from the two others.

Huts #2 and #3 open Eastward, Hut #1 opens Westward, none open toward the other or toward the central area.

A discarded whetstone workbench lies half buried near Hut #3 and a tilted statue, facing 268° W is located in the hamlet.

Aside from the whetstone workbench and the statue, the huts - in shape or in materials - do not correspond to observed Dantari styles. However the Dantari have so far used stone or stone / thatch structures, thus flexibility of habitats may be a staple of Dantari tribes.

Currently, the site seems to be more or less occupied by Force Sensitive Drifters.

Dantooine: Stone Arch & Ruins

6764 5012, elevation 1, A stone arch from the "Golden Dome" culture over a natural or artificial landbridge. Arches on each sides of the landbridge and two rows of three columns border the landbridge. Each arch is 4 paces wide, while the entire length is 54 paces. The pathway is oriented 205° SW.

The "Golden Dome" culture departs from the "Jedi Temple Ruin" culture in terms of materials and choice of architectural shapes. This site notably highlights the two differences, with clearly visible square columns whereas the "Jedi Temple Ruin" culture favored octogonal columns.

Dantooine: Green Fire & Rocks

5463 5835, elevation (...), a small triangular island on a lake is the site of a megalith structure. Two rows of massive limestones are positioned in circle. The outer circle is composed of 10 menhirs, while the inner circle has five.

Two Janta Rockshapers remain on location in permanence and are the caretakers of an ethereal green fire, which does not seem to require consumables.

This stunning site is likely to bear a strong significance to the Dantari Janta, the location carries a strong symbolism (island, triangle, circles, erect stones, fire) that are universally shared. In addition, the megalith rows depart from previously observed structure, where the number 8 was predominent. The presence of Rockshapers and the occurence of a fire raises the issue of Force users. However, caution has to be the rule as the fire may be a natural occurence of unknown origins - justifying in itself that a dedicated structure be built around it.

Dantooine: Stone Building Ruin

5023 6874, elevation 16. The remains of a two-rooms building (12x9 and 21x9). The architecture is reminiscent of the Jedi Temple Ruins.

The building is oriented on a N/S axis (1°) and five broken columns lay inside and outside the building. Two columns nearby the smaller room and three columns nearby the larger room.

A large number of Force users seem to remain in the area, Force Sensitive Crypt Crawlers, Force Sensitive Renegades, Dark Side Savages, Force Crystal Hunters.

The larger area has an usually large population of Novice Force Mystics, Dark Jedi Knights, Dark Adepts, Untrained Wielders of the Dark Side, Forsaken Force Drifters or Dark Jedi Masters.

This concentration could confirm that these ruins - and by extension, similar ruins - where once used by the Jedi Order.

Dantooine: Hut

1180 7047, elevation 12. A large structure made of limestones and thatch. The stucture is a one-room, 13 paces wide, building and is supported by four large limestones at the base. The walls and roof are uniformly positioned, a hole in the roof is used to evacuate fire smoke. The entrance is supported by three large slabs and is oriented 100° SE.

A pen outside the building is buit with five disconnected fences. A circular whetstone and a weapon rack are accessible in the pen. The whetstone is round and rotates around an axis held by wooden plugs. The workbench is stabilized with stones. The weaponrack is also reinforced with wooden plugs. The weapons, all spears (3), are well polished on the shafts and the stone blades are finely chiseled. Dyed leather ribbons (ochre, blue, green) are used to keep the stone blades in the shafts.

A bol was standing nearby the building, without markings or signs of ownership. That it remained so close to the building while two Mokk hunters were outside the house and a fire was lit, suggests that Mokks have domesticated some bols.
