TMB Civic Guide

TMB's Civic Guide

The Player City of Twin Mountain Base and the Player Association Twin Mountain Conclave are two sides of the TMB identity.
As we strive to create a strong player community where everyone feels a sense of belonging, joining one means joining the other.

The player base is European and American. Language is English, though French is spoken by some players.
The community is open to all styles of play :

- GCW, PvP, guild war, space PvP, Space GCW
- Heroics, instances, PvE
- Crafting and resource gathering, space mining
- Roleplay and story telling events.

1. Requirements to join

- Imperial factioned
- Mature, or somehow mature attitude
- Sociable attitude
- Willing to help and partake in group activities
- While we prefer that players concentrate on a single community, you may have your alts in other guilds
- Any profession or level are accepted

2. Gaming preparedness

- Players are strongly encouraged to prepare for encounters, especially in Heroics. This includes reading guides, acquiring quality equipment
- While not everyone will have a top notched equipment, the community is here to help, run instances when need be, craft quality items and so on
- When constituting groups, always check if a community member is around. Not everyone will be there at all times, but overlooking someone may be vexing
- Plans to have a Ventrilo channel and / or Teamspeak channel are on the way, until then, download ventrilo / Teamspeak, it will be useful

3. Role playing

- While role playing is invited, it's not an obligation
- There are few occurrences where it is mandatory however: joining the guild, during storytelling events.
- When joining the guild, a ceremony is held in the city hall where new citizens / guild members will swear an oath.
- Guidelines for story telling events vary, the storyteller will notify on those when they occur

4. Players living in Twin Mountain Base but outside of TWIN

- These players moved in the city before Twin became the city's official guild
- It is preferred, though not mandatory that they join TWIN
- Are invited to all TWIN events and are due the same respect as TWIN/TMB members
- Are invited to display their citizen status on their character

5. Guildsmates living outside of TMB

- These players may have lost residency at some point or for specific reasons are unable to move in TMB
- Are invited to move back or settle in the city whenever possible
- Are invited to all city events and are due the same respect as TMB citizens
- Are invited to indicate "Twin Mountain Base Embassy" on their houses
- As much as possible allow access to their residences so as to provide safe houses for TMB / Twin members of the community

6. Keeping in touch
