The cave itself is devoid of Dantari or cultural artefacts. It is however used by untrained wielders of the Dark Side as well as Force Crystal Hunters - both are quite aggressive. They have set up camps in the cave and seek crystals. The crystals sprout from the cave walls, some of them are quite large, nearing 4m. tall.
The lowest reachable point of elevation -23, however lower cave levels are visible through natural shafts. Blocked passageways prevent from passing and the current inhabitants have not deployed ladders or scaffoldings to explore the lower levels.
While the Dantari totems and statue bear a sensible meaning given the current cave inhabitants, it seems unlikely that they were placed there because of them - placing the statue would have alerted the inhabitants and likely triggered a confrontation, not to mention the difficulties inherent to moving such a large sculpture. The warding is likely to have been placed with respect to another threat such as a lair of large creature, caving risks, cultural taboos. A deeper exploration of the cave might be required at a later time with proper excavation tools.
